As the year 2023 drew to a close, the Merge Games category on the Android platform saw varied performances across its top applications in Europe. Sensor Tower's data provides an overview of these trends, offering a glimpse into the popularity and engagement of these games.

Idle Racer — Tap, Merge & Race by CASUAL AZUR GAMES showed an impressive spike in downloads, from a few thousand in early October to over 800K by Christmas week. Weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, starting at around 9K in late September and peaking at over 1.3M towards the end of December.

Rollic Games's Merge the Jelly experienced substantial download figures, reaching over 100K weekly downloads in mid-October. Although downloads declined towards December, the game maintained a steady base of active users, ending the quarter with nearly 160K.

Magmatic Games LTD's Travel Town - Merge Adventure not only held strong download numbers, fluctuating around 70K to 90K weekly, but also demonstrated consistent revenue growth. The game's weekly active users showed an upward trend, rising from approximately 275K to over 428K by the end of December.

Homa's Merge Master: Dinosaur Monster observed a mixed downloads trend, with peaks and troughs throughout the quarter, but managed to end on a high note with over 90K downloads in the last week of December. Active users saw a slight increase during the same period, finishing with over 260K.

Lastly, Gaming Laboratory's Alice's Dream：Merge Island witnessed a decline in downloads from over 100K in mid-October to around 22K by Christmas. However, weekly active users remained robust, with the game sustaining over 400K active users in the final week of the quarter.
